Shiok Meats is looking for a Process Engineering Intern to work with the process development team to support small scale optimization experiments and cell culture. The job role would also include data analysis and supporting scale-up runs for cultivated meats across species.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support bioprocess laboratory operation i.e. suspension/adherent cell culture, bioreactor operation and small-scale experiments to support process implementation.
• Support conceptualization and execution of lab experiments with team
• Write up scientific and technical reports and records
• Ability to follow protocols and batch records and provide technical input
• Follow health and safety procedures and protocols as required
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and lab facilities with team
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Demonstrate initiative and pro-active approach

Compensation:
This is an Internship position and the candidate will be compensated similar to industry standards.
