Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields in science or engineering
3-10 years of experience in mechatronic design and product development with an emphasis on robotics
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or equivalent
Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems for robotics applications
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques for robotics applications
Experience with AGVs, AMRs, and robotic systems
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Having a skill set that spans across theoretical design through to hands on implementation is highly valued
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB is a plus
Familiarity with common certifications such as CE, UL, and FCC is a plus
Familiar with six sigma methodologies and tools is a plus
Understanding of vision tools and calibration processes is a plus
