Job Description

• • Responsible for working with customers and project managers for installation, configuration & troubleshooting of various Linux operating systems, design and implement solutions on Cloud

  • RedHat Enterprise Linux administration, Server provisioning, patching, security hardening, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning

  • Implementation and management of High Availability RedHat Cluster servers with GFS, SuSE high availability clusters (or) Veritas Clusters

  • System Integration of servers, provide support for Linux Servers ranging from HP, IBM, Dell & Oracle

  • Deployment and configurations on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes architecture and administration across all working components

  • Deployment and configurations of RedHat Ansible Engine & Ansible Tower, including designing and deployment of playbooks

  • Preparing project documentation for customer for new installations, upgrades, and deployments

• Salary: $ 7,000.00 - $ 9,000.00 Per Month

Desired Candidate Profile

• • Minimum 5 years of strong technical expertise in various Unix based Operating Systems

  (either 2):

  • • Redhat (mandatory)
  • • Suse
  • • CentOS
  • • Solaris

  • Familiar working with Virtualized environment: Vmware, HyperV, KVM

  • Experienced in PXE boot, repo server, Red hat Satellite infrastructure management

  • Technical expertise in Container Orchestration: Apache, Nagios, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, RedHat Linux 7 and above

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding in DevOps process, including use of git, Jira, bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines

  • Good knowledge in deploying and configuring automation tools / IaC: Chef, Ansible, Terraform (Certification preferred), playbook creation

  • Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (Bash, Shell-scripting, PHP, Java, Ruby, Python, etc.)

  • Experienced working in cloud infrastructure roles (AWS / Azure / Google/ ManageIQ/CloudForms)

  • Good understanding of networking and security knowledge (WAN / LAN concepts , the TCP/IP protocol stack, network routing and firewall, micro segmentation)

  • Broad exposure to a variety of other technologies (e.g. Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy technologies, middleware such as Websphere/ Weblogic/ OHS, backup and recovery procedures using backup tools for e.g. NetBackup) with a strong infra troubleshooting skills

  • Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, passionate on problem solving and willingness in picking up new skillsets
